Polymer Synthesis

Polymer synthesis is the process that requires pressure and temperature, whereby small molecules called monomers join together to form very long chains, hence polymers are many (poly) monomers (meros). From the control of the synthesis process (solvent, initiator, catalyst, temperature) of the type and quantity of each monomer (in the case of copolymers) the rubber is obtained with the characteristics needed for a given final product.
